Berry & Partners PLLC
Privacy Notice
Effective August 17, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Notice explains what information Berry & Partners ("Berry & Partners," "we," or "us") collects about you, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
Scope. This Notice covers [berrylawpartners.com] and other websites we own and operate (together, the "Site"), together with our related online services (the "Services"). It also covers information we collect when you attend our events or otherwise interact with us as described below, unless we tell you a different notice applies. It does not cover our client extranets, for which separate terms apply, or the sites of third parties we link to.
Updates. We may revise this Notice. We will change the effective date above when we do, and where the law requires it we will give you additional notice — for example, by posting an alert on the Site or emailing you. Please check back periodically.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. We collect information you provide directly — when you engage us or inquire about engaging us, register for an account or event, subscribe to our publications, complete a form, respond to a survey, apply for a job, email us, interact with us on social media, or otherwise communicate with us. Depending on the interaction, this may include your name, username and password, postal address, email address, telephone number, employer and job title, bar admissions and bar number, education and employment history, information you submit in a job application, your preferences, and anything else you choose to tell us. In limited circumstances — such as employment or engagement onboarding — we may collect government identifiers.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, your browser and device send us certain information, including:
- Log data — your IP address, internet service provider, operating system and browser (with versions), the date and time of your visit, the pages you view, and the site you came from. We treat IP addresses as personal information even though they do not name you. We review server logs for security and fraud-prevention purposes and may share them with investigative authorities if we suspect criminal activity.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Notice. Where you click a link in an email from us, our systems record that a recipient clicked that link, which we use to gauge whether our communications are useful.
- Device data — for any mobile application, the device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Information from other sources. We may combine what we collect with information from other sources, such as professional networking sites, public records and databases, directories, event co-sponsors, and vendors, to keep our contact records accurate.
Share-this features. If the Site lets you forward a page to a colleague, we use the names and email addresses you enter only to send that message. We do not retain them afterward.
How We Use Information
We use information about you to: deliver legal services and administer client relationships; operate, secure, and improve the Site and Services; respond to your questions and requests; send you publications, event invitations, and other communications about the firm and its services, subject to your choices; administer events and continuing-education credit; invite feedback and conduct surveys; evaluate job applicants and make hiring decisions; keep our records and mailing lists accurate and de-duplicated; analyze usage and trends; detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, and misuse; carry out accounting, audit, and internal investigations; comply with our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
How We Share Information
We may share information about you:
- With service providers who perform work for us and need the information to do it — for example, website hosting, IT and security services, data analysis, email delivery, payment processing, recruiting platforms, and event management. We give them access only to what they need and require them to protect it.
- With bar associations and accrediting bodies, including your name and bar number, in connection with continuing legal education credit.
- With event co-sponsors, where a program is jointly hosted, consistent with your preferences.
- As required by law or to protect safety — where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process, to respond to a lawful request from a public authority, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the firm or any other person.
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, combination, or transfer of all or part of our practice or assets, including during negotiations.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your Choices
Marketing. We include an unsubscribe link in our newsletters and promotional emails. You may also ask to be removed from our mailing lists at any time using the contact information below; please include your full name, organization, postal address, and email address so we can find your records. We will act on your request promptly and within any period the law requires.
Accessing and correcting your information. To access, update, correct, or delete your personal information, contact us at [contact@berrylawpartners.com] or at the postal address below. We may ask for information to verify your identity, and we may limit or decline a request where the law permits or requires. We may need to retain certain information to meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, including our duties to clients.
Our other sites. We operate other sites, including client extranets. This Notice applies only to the Site described above.
Third-party links and embedded content. We may link to, or embed content hosted by, third-party services. This Notice does not govern those services, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
Retention, Security, and Accuracy
Retention. We keep information for as long as necessary for the purposes described here and as required by law, professional rules, and our legitimate business interests. In setting retention periods we consider the volume, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, whether we can achieve our purposes another way, and applicable legal requirements.
Security. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or alteration. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that information exchanged with us will not be intercepted or compromised in transit.
Accuracy. We work to keep our records accurate and will correct them when you tell us something is wrong. Please let us know at [contact@berrylawpartners.com] if any information we hold about you needs updating.
Children. The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Site, please contact us at [contact@berrylawpartners.com] so we can take appropriate action.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain states have additional rights. See our U.S. State Supplemental Privacy Notice below.

The Site is hosted on servers located in the United States, and we store and process personal information in the United States.
